Location – Baner(Pune, India)
Education – Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent

Experience and Skills Required

• Degree at least 5 years/ Diploma 8 Years
• Proficiency in C Programming Language
• Exposure to Electronics Hardware (Development is not needed)
• Plus
• Knowledge of embedded software architecture and development
• Knowledge of PIC 32 environment and Harmony IDE

Overview

The position is based in Pune under BWC Labs (BrainWave Consulting). The position will support BWC’s customers who are global suppliers of assembly line automation systems, test systems, special purpose machines and solutions. This includes (but not limited to) automotive/EV, defense, aerospace, industrial, life sciences and semiconductor industry. The support will be provided Globally and within India.

The embedded developer will be involved from the inquiry stage through handover and closure of client’s system / machine / product. The position will use functional knowledge of the manufacturing industry and configuration of various automation systems.

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Understand customer’s product.

• Review customer’s existing design and software architecture and standard practices.
• Understand the product variants.
• Gather information regarding the functioning of the product.

2. Demonstrate with ‘Solution Presentation’.

• Based on the review of customer’s product, develop a prototype / mock-up that demonstrates the new / proposed architecture and functionality.
• Demonstrate the benefits of using the components of Delmia platform.

3. Implementation and Integration

• Gather relevant data to input into software model.
• Carry out the software development / coding as per the requirements and feedback on mock-up.
• Validate software code by comparing test results with empirical data.

4. Training and Support

• Train customer’s design engineers, controls engineers and operations team on the effective usage of Delmia suite.
• Provide on-site support to customer’s teams before final hand-over and closure.

5. Perform other duties as required or assigned by the BrainWave leadership.
