Experience and Skills Required
- 3 ~ 5 years of relevant experience
- CATIA Customization Specialist (Primary / Mandatory)
- CATIA, CAA, Visual Basic Programming, EKL, JAVA/JavaScript
- Develop and support CAD automation tools (Master Modeling, Drafting automation, Drawing/ Model validation).
- Hands-on expertise in programming using C, C++, .Net Framework, Knowledge Fusion.
- Hands-on expertise in using Open API (C, C++) user interface creation for developing automation tools.
- Good exposure in using Modeling, Drafting, Assemblies, Sketching, Developing software using Windows environment
Overview
The CATIA Customization Specialist will be responsible for development and support of CAD automation tools (Master Modeling, Drafting automation, Drawing/ Model validation).
They position will collaborate closely with engineers and other stakeholders of BWC Labs customer to translate requirements into development, customization, scripting and integration of CATIA Tool.
The candidate should have good Co-ordination with customer and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Custom Development: Utilize C++, CAA, VBA, and EKL to develop custom solutions tailored to our specific engineering needs within the CATIA environment.
- Automation Scripting: Design and implement scripts to automate repetitive tasks, improving efficiency and reducing manual workload for our design teams.
- Integration Expertise: Ensure seamless integration of customized features into CATIA, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance overall system functionality.
- Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and resolve issues in customized CATIA modules, providing technical support to end-users and maintaining system integrity.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for customizations, ensuring clear communication of processes, workflows, and best practices for both current and future reference.
- Collaboration: Work closely with design engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions that align with project goals.
- Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to continuously improve CATIA customization and engineering workflows.
